1. If you built your PWP with legacy sitebuilders
2. If you use FrontPage
3. If you use FTP either by 3rd part FTP clients or website design applications

IMPORTANT:

If you have recently made a change on your email password for your @mchsi.com account after the email upgrade, this password cannot be used to login to your PWP management portal at http://pwplogin.mchsi.com. You are still required to use your previous password prior to the email upgrade only for your PWP management.

ATTENTION:

If you use Internet Explorer version 7 or 8, please ensure to use Windows Explorer outside of WebsiteOS to connect to and navigate FTP. Please click My Computer and in the address bar type in: ftp://username@upload.mchsi.com This will prompt for the password.

1. If your PWP was built with AT&T sitebuilders:

If your PWP was created on old system with site-builder tools and you have created and published your new PWP on new system using new EasySiteWizard tool, your PWP should be accessible to visitors via their web browsers.

If you have not re-built and published your PWP on new system yet, visitors will see under construction page until your PWP is created and published.

To access EasySiteWizard and build your new PWP, please go to http://pwplogin.mchsi.com and login with your username (ex. user@mchsi.com) and password.

IMPORTANT:

If you have recently made a change on your email password for your @mchsi.com account after the email upgrade, this password cannot be used to login to your PWP management portal at http://pwplogin.mchsi.com. You are still required to use your previous password prior to the email upgrade only for your PWP management.

Your content from the old system was backed up on the new system.

To access it please use these steps:

Step 1: Place this link in Address Bar of your browser: ftp://username:password@upload.mchsi.com

Note: replace your username with your Email ID and password with your email password. Click "Enter"

Step 2: Go to /archive folder, select file(s) with right mouse click, save as / save to desired location.

IMPORTANT:

If you have recently made a change on your email password for your @mchsi.com account after the email upgrade, this password cannot be used. You are still required to use your previous password prior to the email upgrade.

 

2. If you use FrontPage

  • URL that you will connect to, no longer requires https:// appended to the beginning of your PWP website name. Please use http://username.home.mchsi.com or http://home.mchsi.com/~username
  • To maintain and publish your PWP website, the new username credential to publish through your FrontPage application will require the username to be your complete email address (ex. user@mchsi.com).
  • If you want to change your FrontPage password in future, please contact us at 1-800-422-1545
IMPORTANT:

If you notice that the content on new system is out-of-date based on the latest changes you made on old system, please contact our support team at 1-800-422-1545

Please do not upload your new content from local back up. This will overwrite important modifications that were made during transition to new system and reflect your website performance.

If you need to make changes or updates to your existing site on new platform, please download your site from new platform to make updated local copy. Please apply all further changes to this updated local copy to ensure that important modifications are preserved.

3. If you use FTP either by 3rd part FTP clients or website design applications:

If you publish your website through FTP either by 3rd part FTP clients or website design applications, secure FTP connections are no longer supported on the new platform. You will need to disable the secure connection option if you are currently using this option to connect via FTP to your PWP website.

To login to FTP please use the following:

Server Name / Host: upload.mchsi.com
Login: user
Password: your email password

IMPORTANT:
